To hire a car in Denmark, you need to be at least 19 years of age and have held a driving licence for at least one year. If you or your additional drivers are under the age of 25, you'll need to pay an extra fee (underage surcharge) per day. The amount varies by country and will be quoted when you book your hire vehicle online – but you can expect it to be around 100 DKK per day for each driver.
